NOTRE DAME, Ind. – A pair of nonconference games on the 2016 University of Notre Dame softball schedule have been adjusted to new dates and start times later this season at Melissa Cook Stadium.

Thursday’s (April 7) 5 p.m. (ET) scheduled matchup against DePaul has been postponed due to an advanced forecast of inclement weather in the South Bend area. Both teams have agreed to meet during an open date on Wednesday, April 27 at 4 p.m., with the game still being held at Melissa Cook Stadium.

The original Notre Dame contest slated for April 27 against Butler has been shifted to Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. A scheduling conflict that prevented Butler from traveling to the Notre Dame campus at the end of April led to the date and time change.

Stay tuned to UND.com and official Notre Dame softball social media accounts for the latest updates on this weekend’s series. The Irish and Pittsburgh are scheduled to face-off in a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) set on Saturday and Sunday at Melissa Cook Stadium.
