NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Irish track and field teams continue their 2009 indoor season by playing host to the Notre Dame Invitational Friday evening at the Loftus Sports Center. It is the third of five indoor meets the Irish will host this season.

Notre Dame will host Michigan State, Wisconsin and Marquette at the one-day event.

The Irish are coming off a great showing at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener, held last Friday at the Loftus Sports Center. Several members of the Irish squads qualified for the BIG EAST meet, while senior Mary Saxer broke the Loftus Center pole vault record with a mark of 4.06m.
