2016 ACC Men’s Tennis Championship Bracket

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – With the regular season concluded, the Atlantic Coast Conference has released its bracket for next week’s ACC Men’s Tennis Championship, with the University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team earning a No. 7 seed ahead of Thursday’s second round.

The Irish (14-12, 6-6 ACC) will face No. 10 seed Duke (11-14, 4-8 ACC) at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. The top 11 seeds (of 13) received a first-round bye, with one first-round match taking place on Wednesday.

The Irish defeated the Blue Devils 5-2 on March 18 at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. The Irish won five of seven tiebreaker sets and two three-set matches in a close singles showdown.

The winner of Thursday’s match between Notre Dame and Duke will play No. 2 seed Wake Forest at 1 p.m. ET Friday. Saturday’s semifinal matches will take place at 2 p.m. ET, with the match featuring the highest-seeded team streamed on ESPN3. Sunday’s 2 p.m. ET championship match will also be streamed on ESPN3.
