NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame track and field program will send seven athletes to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships from March from March 9-11 at Texas A&M’s Rhonda and Frosty Gilliam Jr. Indoor Track Stadium (College Station, Texas).

Notre Dame won three gold medals at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship to secure three additional spots at the national meet. The Notre Dame women won the distance medley relay, the 5,000m and the mile last weekend at Loftus Sports Center, qualifying and winning All-ACC honors.

The DMR squad features senior Jamie Marvil, juniors Payton Miller and Jessica Harris and sophomore Kelly Hart. The foursome recorded a time of 11:02.32 and rounded out the top-12 teams making the trip to College Station.

Harris also won the mile, setting a personal record and turning in the eighth-best time in the country with a 4:33.80 mark.

Sophomore Anna Rohrer finished first in the 5,000m, racing in a time of 15:38.11 and sliding into the fifth spot in the national rankings.

Senior pole vaulter Nathan Richartz, who finished third at the ACC Championships, will represent the men’s squad at nationals. Richartz broke his own school record with a 5.50m jump at the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson earlier this season.
