NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s soccer team won a defensive battle with the University of Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday, improving to 2-0-0.
On a cross in by junior forward Karin Muya, a Badger defender slid to help out her goalkeeper, but to no avail as she deflected the ball into the net. The own goal would stand as the decisive measure in this match.
