Irish Men's Swimming Announces Signing Class

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame men’s and women’s swimming and diving head coach Mike Litzinger officially announced the incoming signing class for the Irish men’s squad on Wednesday.

The seven commitments from the fall of 2017 signing period, Dan Bannon (Virginia Beach, Virginia), Marton Barta (Szombathely, Hungary), Josh Bottelberghe (Vancouver, Washington), Matthew Limbacher (Naples, Florida), Max Miranda (East Greenwich, Rhode Island), Zachary Smith (Tuscaloosa, Alabama) and Andrew Winton (Suwanee, Georgia), will join the Notre Dame program for the upcoming 2018-19 academic year.

“I am very proud of this class and the work that went into putting it together,” Litzinger said. “Our coaches did a tremendous job establishing great relationships, and all of these men felt a strong connection to Notre Dame and our program. Without a doubt, this is one of the top classes in the ACC and the NCAA.”
