Irish Land Four on ACC All-Academic Team

Peoples, Walker, Mabrey and Westbeld honored

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2020-21 ACC All-Academic Team members on Wednesday as Notre Dame women’s basketball’s Anaya Peoples, Dara Mabrey, Destinee Walker and Maddy Westbeld were all honored. Through their hard work both on and off the court, the group of four doubled the amount recognized last year and marks the most of any season for the Irish while competing in the ACC.

For both Mabrey and Walker, this marks the third time on the ACC All-Academic Team. Meanwhile, Peoples and Westbeld have earned their first. To be recognized, players must possess a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. From there, athletic achievements during the most recent season are factored into the decision.
