Notre Dame, Ind. – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), Fox Sports Net (FSN), RBK, the Detroit Red Wings, Tim Horton’s and Perani’s Hockey World along with the Notre Dame hockey team will host over 50 boys and girls in the second “Have Fun, Play Hockey” Clinic at the Joyce Center this Sunday, Nov. 16.

The free clinic, open to boys and girls ages 5-11, who have not played organized hockey, will run from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at the Joyce Center. Pre-registration for the event is required.

All equipment, including skates and sticks will be provided to the clinic’s participants. Members of the Notre Dame hockey team will be on hand to mentor players on and off the ice.

“We are really excited to once again offer the opportunity for boys and girls to experience the fun of hockey for the first time by taking part in a `Have Fun, Play Hockey’ clinic,” said CCHA commissioner Tom Anastos.

“Over the first three years of this program, more than 1,500 kids have had a chance to experience the fun of hockey for the very first time and we take great pride in our role of facilitating that experience for them.”

This is the second time the Have Fun, Play Hockey Clinic has been held at the Joyce Center in conjunction with the CCHA.
