Irish Hockey At Boston College To Be Televised On ESPN Classic

Notre Dame, Ind. – A 10th game has been added to Notre Dame hockey’s 2008-09 television schedule. The November 7 game at Boston College, a rematch of the 2008 NCAA championship game, will be televised and can be seen nationally on ESPN Classic at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 7.

The game is part of Hockey East’s television package with ESPNU and will be the lone regular-season appearance by the Irish on one of the ESPN affiliates. Justin Kutcher and Damian DiGuilian will handle the play-by-play and color commentary.

The Irish now have 10 televised games during the regular season with five on CBS College Sports, two on Fox Sports Detroit, two with Comcast and the Boston College game on ESPN Classic.

Viewers should check their local cable or satellite systems for channels and locations of each telecast throughout the year.
