2016 ACC Women’s Tennis Championship Bracket

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team will face off with Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Championship on Wednesday, with the league releasing the 15-team bracket Sunday.

The Irish (11-12, 5-9 ACC) received the No. 11 seed into this season’s championship, with the Panthers (7-13, 1-13 ACC) picking up the No. 14 seed. Notre Dame defeated Pittsburgh 4-3 on February 12 at the Eck Tennis Pavilion.

The winner of Wednesday match between the Irish and Panthers will place No. 6 seeded Clemson at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The semifinal matches are slated for 10 a.m. ET Saturday, with the highest-seeded match being streamed on ESPN3. Sunday’s 10 a.m. ET championship match will also be streamed on ESPN3.
