COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Notre Dame women’s diving team wrapped up its 2013-14 season this weekend at the NCAA Zone C Qualifier. Junior Allison Casareto and sophomores Emma Gaboury and Lindsey Streepey all turned in top-10 finishes throughout the meet.

On day one, Streepey just missed out on qualifying for the NCAA Championships as she finished sixth in the 1-meter dive (580.80). Casareto wasn’t far behind in eighth place (572.90).

Day two saw Gaboury lead the charge with an eighth-place showing on the 3-meter board (601.40) before finishing ninth in the platform (428.25) on day three.

The threesome all improved from the 2013 zones and have built a solid base for the 2014-15 season where all three will be upperclassmen.

Next up for Notre Dame is the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minn., as eight Irish women’s swimmers qualified, highlighted by junior Emma Reaney earning top-five seeds in three individual events.
