Irish Compete at Joe Walker Invite

OXFORD, MISS. – Notre Dame traveled to the Joe Walker Invite in Oxford, Mississippi where the Irish were represented by several mid-distance and distance runners.

Erin Sullivan ran in the 800m where she crossed the finish line with a time of 2:07.82 taking 13th place.

In the 1500m race, the Irish were represented by Kaitlin Ryan, Olivia Markezich, Sophie Novak, Madeleine King, Megan Hughes, and Molly Grant. Ryan led the pack with a time of 4:26.84, followed by Markezich (4:27.84), Novak (4:28.60), King (4:28.95), Hughes (4:33.60), and Grant (4:33.64).  

The 5000m had Jacquelin Gaughan, Meghan Scott, and Charlotte Turesson all race. Gaughan took third place with a time of 16:12.36. Scott took home sixth place with a time of 16:32.77. Turesson crossed the finish line at 17:53.87.

On the men’s side, Bashir Mosavel-Lo ran in the 1500m when he crossed the finish line at 3:48.66. Parker Jones and Vincent Zona also ran in the 1500m race finishing at 3:52.50 and 3:54.54.
