NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s golf team travels to Wake Forest for its final regular-season tournament of the 2016-17 season in the Bryan National Collegiate from March 31-April 2.
The Irish will compete against 17 teams, including seven ranked teams, at Bryan Park Champions Course.
“The field has about 12 teams currently ranked ahead of us, so this is a great opportunity to get some excellent head-to-head wins and really help our national ranking,” Irish head coach Susan Holt said. “At this point in our season, this is a very important tournament.”
Notre Dame has competed in the Bryan National Collegiate in each of the last two seasons.
In 2016, Talia Campbell led the Irish, shooting a 224 and finishing tied for eighth individually. As a team, the Irish concluded the tournament tied for fifth.

Format: 18 holes split tee start on Friday and Saturday and a final round shotgun start on Sunday

Sophomore Isabella DiLisio will lead the Irish in the No. 1 position, followed by fellow sophomore Emma Albrecht (No. 2), senior Jordan Ferreira (No. 3), freshman Mia Ayer (No. 4) and sophomore Maddie Rose Hamilton (No. 5).

“We are still looking for much needed consistent scoring in each round from each player. The last two events we have posted a solid first round and not been able to back it up in the last two rounds. If we can do that, we will get a much better end result.”

Last Time Out
Notre Dame wrapped up the Clover Cup with a score of 298 (+10), placing seventh (887, +23) overall at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
Sophomores Emma Albrecht (219, T16) and Isabella DiLisio (220, T21) led the Irish individually.
NCAA Note
This season, the Irish will be looking to extend their streak of nine consecutive NCAA Regional appearances (2008-16). The program has made 11 all-time appearances in the NCAA Regionals and also advanced to the NCAA Championship in 2011.

The Irish will return to action at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships on April 13-15 at The Reserve Golf Club in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
