NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s soccer team released its 2018 spring schedule on Monday. The Irish, who advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2017, will play five exhibition games this spring.

Notre Dame opens its season at 7:30 p.m. ET on March 23, when it travels to face Purdue in West Lafayette.

The Irish host the next two games versus Ball State (7 p.m. ET on April 11) and Wisconsin (noon ET on April 15). Both contests will be played at Alumni Stadium.

Notre Dame and Indiana will square off in a neutral-site matchup at Indianapolis’ Grand Park at 7 p.m. ET on April 21.

The spring schedule concludes with a game against Northwestern at Alumni Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on April 28.

Notre Dame will compete under new head coach Nate Norman, who previously was an Irish assistant during the 2017 season.

Norman will lead a roster that includes early enrollee and goalkeeper Mattie Interian. The entire incoming freshman class, ranked No. 5 in the country, will join the Irish this summer.
