The University of Notre Dame rowing team stayed in contention for the Atlantic Coast Conference title and a spot in the NCAA Championship field by earning a spot in four of five Grand Finals at the ACC Championship at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, South Carolina, on Friday evening.
The Third Varsity Eight (3V8), First Varsity Four (1V4), Second Varsity Eight (2V8) and First Varsity Eight (1V8) all advanced to the six-boat Grand Finals on Saturday morning.
The 3V8 will be the third seed behind Virginia and Duke with the Grand Final set for 8:05 a.m. ET. The 1V4 will be the fifth seed and hit the course at 9:05 a.m., followed by the fifth-seeded 2V8 at 9:30 a.m. ET. The racing will conclude with the 1V8 in the Grand Final at 9:55 a.m. with the fourth-best preliminary time.
