Notre Dame and Alaska close out the weekend series at 7:05 p.m. at the Joyce Center. The Irish out lasted the Nanooks Friday night for a 2-1 win. They are now 27-21-4 in the all-time series. Since the start of the 2006-07 season, Notre Dame is 11-1-1 versus Alaska with the lone loss coming last November in Fairbanks. At the Joyce Center, the Irish are 16-8-1 against the Nanooks and have won seven straight meetings since the ’06-’07 season. Notre Dame is ranked eighth in the nation with a 15-7-3 overall record and is in first in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association with a 12-4-1-1 record, good for 38 points. Alaska is ranked 20th in the nation and is 9-8-4 overall with a 6-7-4-4 record in conference play, good for 26 points.
