NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Ben Hansbrough, on the heels of his Senior Night performance against Villanova, has won the Capital One Cup Impact Performance of the Week, it was announced on Thursday.
The senior finished the ESPN Big Monday game against the Wildcats, a 93-72 victory, with 30 points on 8-12 shooting, including 7-10 from three-point range and 7-7 at the free throw line. Hansbrough also chipped in 10 assists to go along with a career-best five steals in the contest.
The Poplar Bluff. Mo., native finished with 37 percent of the votes, while Jordan Taylor of Wisconsin finished in second with 29 percent. Jon Diebler of Ohio State and C.J. Wilcox of Washington finished in third and fourth, garnering 26 percent and eight percent of the votes, respectively.
