NOTRE DAME, Ind. – For the second time in his career, University of Notre Dame men’s tennis senior Josh Hagar has earned all-conference honors, capping his career with an All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team bid, as the league announced Thursday.

Hagar currently owns a 20-15 overall singles ranking and a No. 48 national ranking. He went 11-11 at No. 1 singles for the Irish this season and was 7-11 against nationally ranked opponents. His best win of the season came on Senior Day on April 23 in a straight-set victory over then-No. 3 Petros Chrysocos.

Hagar earned All-ACC Third Team honors as a junior in 2016.

The Austin, Texas, product will represent the Irish at the NCAA Singles Championship, earning an at-large bid Wednesday into the 64-player field. The tournament will take place May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Tennis Center in Athens, Georgia.
