PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Qualifying play continued Tuesday at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships, as one University of Notre Dame women’s tennis player left competing in the singles portion of the tournament heading into the day.
Irish senior and 93rd-ranked Quinn Gleason fell in her first-round matchup with No. 70 Vladica Babic of Oklahoma State, 6-3, 6-2.
Gleason and junior Monica Robinson will return to action Thursday in the main draw of the doubles competition. The pair were ranked 10th in the Oracle/ITA preseason rankings.
