Jody Sadler is in her thirteenth year as a member of the Notre Dame athletics administration staff, returning to the department in 2013 as senior associate athletics director. She had been promoted to associate athletics director for administration at the start of the 2009-10 school year before soon embarking on an 18-month rotational program through the University in 2011. While in this rotational program, she worked on projects relative to strategic planning, communications and business development with the leadership teams in University Relations, The College of Science and The Office of Student Affairs. Prior to her selection into the rotation program, Jody spent eleven years as a member of the Notre Dame Athletics Administration staff and was responsible for all internal personnel management, professional development and communication, internship program, coach’s contract analysis, service metrics and innovation.

In her current role, Sadler oversees the day-to-day administration of the Director of Athletics Office and provides counsel relative to the development and execution of all department strategic initiatives and planning on behalf of the Vice President & Director of Athletics. She also oversees and manages post-season bowl trip planning for football. Sadler serves as the liaison with the University Presidents Office and represents athletics on various campus committees.

Sadler served as the administrator for rowing for seven years and in 2013, became the administrator for the baseball program. In addition, she completed a four year term as a member of the NCAA Division I Rowing Committee and served as chair of the BIG EAST Rowing Championship Committee in 2009-10. She currently serves on the ACC Committee on Committees.
