Rachel joined the University of Notre Dame Sports Medicine team in November 2016. She works primarily with the women’s rowing team overseeing their day to day medical needs. Prior to joining the ND Sports Medicine staff, Rachel worked for three years with Saint Joseph Health Systems contracted to Saint Joseph High School where she maintained the daily needs of all of the student-athletes at SJHS.
Rachel graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and worked with their football team as well as two high school rotations. She continued her education at Western Michigan University where she was a Graduate Assistant with placement at Vicksburg High School. She received my Master’s in Athletic Training in 2013.
Rachel is from Sturgis, MI where her parents still reside. She enjoys outdoor activities, exploring new places, spending time at the lake and camping during the Summer with her family.
