Kali Hofer, who spent the 2009-10 school year as an event marketing intern at the University of Notre Dame, was promoted to coordinator of event marketing on June 8, 2010.
Hofer is responsible for the overseeing of all event-marketing aspects for Notre Dame men’s basketball, baseball, softball, soccer programs and football gamedays. She also assists in developing new media marketing for Notre Dame Athletics.
Prior to her time at Notre Dame, Hofer served as a marketing student intern in the athletic department at Southern Illinois University. While at SIU, she also worked in the marketing department as a graduate assistant where she worked with the volleyball, softball, baseball, football and basketball programs. She implemented the Junior Salukis Kids Club and coordinated the student fan group, the “Dawg Pound.”
Hofer graduated from Southern Illinois in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and later earned her master’s degree in business administration from SIU in 2009.
