Greg Helmkamp is the Assistant Golf Professional at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame, starting in 2011.
Helmkamp is a 2007 graduate of Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He is currently enrolled in the professional golf management program (PGM) as a Level 3 apprentice.
Before coming to Notre Dame, Helmkamp was the assistant golf professional at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.; this course was formerly known as the Fort Wayne Elks Golf Club. Helmkamp worked in Fort Wayne from 2006 through 2010.
Originally a Fort Wayne native, Helmkamp currently resides in South Bend, and enjoys watching and attending college basketball and football events.
