Josh Flynt is in his fourth year with the Notre Dame athletics department, and first as a member of the athletics marketing team. He joined the marketing staff in February 2015, after previously serving as the Monogram Club communications associate.

Flynt was responsible for managing all Monogram Club communication channels, including the Club’s website, blog and social media accounts. Flynt also worked closely with the rest of the Club staff to plan and coordinate fellowship events for Monogram winners, both on campus and regionally. He served as the primary contact for Sports Heritage Hall, an area of the Joyce Center dedicated to celebrating the rich history of Notre Dame athletics.

During his time at Notre Dame, Flynt has also had the opportunity to serve as a media relations assistant for the 2013 NCAA men’s lacrosse quarterfinals in Indianapolis, and 2014 NCAA women’s basketball regional at Notre Dame.

Prior to joining the Monogram Club staff, Flynt was an intern and blogger with Fighting Irish Digital Media. During that time, he was instrumental in launching and managing the Notre Dame athletics blog network, and was the inaugural “ND Sports Blogger,” establishing a Twitter audience of nearly 4,500 followers. Additionally, he was responsible for managing 125.nd.edu, a website celebrating 125 Years of Notre Dame Football through videos, photos and stories throughout the 2012 season.

Flynt graduated from Notre Dame in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in marketing. While a student at the University, Flynt was the Executive Editor of Scholastic Magazine and a Resident Assistant in Keenan Hall. He also spent time in the Notre Dame Alumni Association as the Hannah Storm Journalism Intern, working as a production assistant with NBC Sports during football season, and as a student assistant within the athletic media relations office.

A native of Malta, N.Y., Flynt currently resides in South Bend.
