Former Notre Dame Basketball Player Dies

Former Notre Dame basketball player Jay Miller died suddenly of aheart attack on April 5 in Tempe, Ariz., where he resided. Miller, whoserved as an FBI agent the past 30 years, was a teammate of current NotreDame president Edward “Monk” Malloy during the early 1960s and received apresidential medallion from then-Notre Dame president Rev. TheodoreHesburgh, C.S.C., in 1965.
