Life Treatment Center To Host Roast Of Ara Parseghian
Roasters to include George Wendt, Terry Hanratty and Monogram Club Vice President Jim Carroll.

South Bend, Ind. – Former Notre Dame football coach Ara Parseghian was scheduled to bethe subject of the fifth annual Life Treatment Centers (LTC) roast on April28 at the Joyce Center.

Those scheduled to roast Parseghian included actor George Wendt,former Irish All-Americans Terry Hanratty, Jim Seymour, Jack Snow, BobGladieux and Frank Pomarico – and Parseghian’s first team captain, JimCarroll (who will assume duties as president of the Monogram Club in June).Others on the list included Dan Harshman-who played for Parseghianand is now executive director of the Logan Center, a non-profit South Bendagency serving the handicapped-and Tom Pagna, former Irish footballoffensive coordinator and long-time Westwood One color analyst on NotreDame football radio broadcasts.

A portion of this year’s proceeds will be donated to Parseghian’sNiemann-Pick Foundation, established to help find a cure for the raredisease which afflicts two of Parseghian’s grandchildren.Look for a recap of the roast in the summer issue of Inside Irish.
