Free T-Shirts at No. 11 Women's Lacrosse on Saturday

Feb. 13, 2014

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – An old Notre Dame rival is coming to town on Saturday to inaugurate ACC play and now Irish fans have yet another reason to drop by the Loftus Sports Center. There will be no need to hope a strong-armed cheerleader finds you in the crowd as all early arriving fans for the No. 11 Fighting Irish women’s lacrosse game against No. 17 Boston College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. will receive a free T-Shirt commemorating Notre Dame’s first game in the conference.

Presented by O’Rourke’s Public House, the shirts mark the occasion of the first ACC game for any Fighting Irish spring sport and include a full-team roster on the back.

Notre Dame enters the game fresh off of a season-opening 25-1 win over Cincinnati on Wednesday night in which the Irish set school records for most goals scored and largest margin of victory. This will be the season-opener for the Eagles.

The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 6-1 but it is the first meeting between the schools since 2005 in the Eagles’ final spring as BIG EAST Conference members.

Tickets are available at the gate on Saturday for just $5 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors. For season ticket packages, which also include admission to men’s lacrosse home games in addition to women’s games, logon to UND.com or call (574) 631-7356.
