Notre Dame, Ind – Four-time Monogram winner, Kerri Hanks is going to be honored at halftime of Saturday night’s men’s basketball game as the 19th ranked Fighting Irish take on the third-ranked UCONN Huskies at the Joyce Center.

Hanks is one of only four players ever to earn the Hermann Trophy twice in their careers, receiving her second award earlier this month, becoming the first recipient of either gender to do so in non-consecutive seasons. She is believed to be the only athlete in Notre Dame history to win more than one national player of the year awards. Hanks was a four-time All American, including three on the first team list.

This past season the Irish women’s soccer team finished the season 26-1 and advanced to the national championship game against North Carolina.
