The University of Notre Dame football team will hold its annual football banquet tonight in the Joyce Center. Former Irish head coach Gerry Faust will be the guest speaker and the Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley Rockne Student-Athlete Award, Lineman of the Year from the National Football Foundation Moose Krause Chapter, Westwood One/State Farm Student-Athlete of the Year, Guardian of the Year, Nick Peitrosante and Monogram Club Team MVP awards will be presented.
Fighting Irish All-Access will be in attendance at the football banquet and will prepare a full comprehensive recap on und.com as soon as possible after the event, which begins at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Finally, senior tight end John Carlson reached two noteworthy accomplishments this week, as he was named an ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN and a finalist for the MACKEY AWARD.
