The University of Notre Dame football team continues its preparations for the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans today, Saturday, Dec. 30. Assistant head coach (defense) Bill Lewis and defensive coordinator Rick Minter, along with selected Irish defensive players, appeared at the media hotel in the morning for an interview session.

The Irish will hold another practice in the Super Dome on Saturday, but there will not be post-practice interviews today. On the docket for Sunday, Dec. 31, will be another round of interviews in the morning (with offensive coaches and players).

As Fighting Irish All-Access continues to provide full coverage of the football events in New Orleans, look for the coverage to expand before game day, including the Official Pre-Game Show, featuring Reggie Brooks, Mirko Jurkovic and Jack Nolan shot on-site in New Orleans on Jan. 1.
