The University of Notre Dame football team, now just three days away from its showdown with LSU in the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl, held a closed practice at the New Orleans Saints training camp facility on Sunday, Dec. 31. With the hometwon Saints playing in the Super Dome and New Years Eve energy in the city, action has picked up in downtown New Orleans.

But, the New Year is not without updated news from the Irish program. The team posted yet another HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE SEMESTER OF WORK in the classroom in the fall of 2006.

The offensive players and assistant coaches held a press conference in the morning, however, and those video updates (along with everything Fighting Irish All-Access has produced in New Orleans) can be viewed by clicking here.

Happy New Year!
