The University of Notre Dame football team has two weeks of preparation remaiing for the season opener at Georgia Tech on Sept. 2. For Monday’s practice, the Irish headed back indoors to the Loftus Sports Center as head coach Charlie Weis prepares his team for the heat and humidity they will face in Atlanta, Ga., in 12 days.

The Irish freshmen met with the media for the first time in their collegiate careers on Monday, as a 30-minute freshman media day session was held. Und.com offers a sample of several interviews with the rookie class here:
