The University of Notre Dame football team moved indoors to Loftus Sports Center on Saturday, Aug. 19, for a morning workout. With the freshman attending orientation this weekend, the team held a light workout inside due to overnight rains. Coach Weis took advantage of the scenario, however, turning up the heat and humidity in the building to simulate the weather the Irish might face in their season opener at Georgia Tech on Sept. 4.

Practice is completely closed to the media on Sunday, Aug. 20. Next practice update on und.com will be Monday, Aug. 21 – freshman media day – when the deep Irish rookie class will talk to the media for the first time in their Notre Dame careers.
