WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In the final attempt at qualifying for the NCAA Championships next month in Auburn, Ala., three members of the Notre Dame women’s swimming team went to West Lafayette, Ind., and the campus of Purdue for the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance Meet. Earning NCAA B-cuts were Kelly Ryan (100 back) and Bridget Casey (200 fly).

Ryan earned NCAA B-cut times of 53.83, 54.19 and 54.41 in the 100 back, while Casey turned in B-cut times of 1:59.80 and 2:00.32 in the 200 fly.

Freshman Emma Reaney also competed at the meet in two events she did rarely during her remarkable rookie campaign. The Lawrence, Kan., native produced times of 56.35 and 56.65 in the 100 fly and times of 2:05.60 and 2:06.66 in the 200 back.
