NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Senior midfielder Andie Aldave, graduate midfielder Savannah Buchanan, senior goaltender Bridget Deehan, senior attacker Maddie Howe and graduate defender Kathleen Roe were each named to the Preseason All-ACC Team ahead of the 2021 season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 9).
Last week, Aldave (First Team), Buchanan (HM), Deehan (First Team) and Roe (HM) were each named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans alongside Madison Ahern (Second Team), Kasey Choma (Third Team) and Emma Schettig (Second Team).
Aldave and Deehan were also tabbed U.S. Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-Americans back in December, with Deehan being named the magazine’s Preseason Goaltender of the Year.
The Irish, which open the season #2 in the IWLCA Poll, were slotted second in the conference’s preseason coaches poll.
