Fisher was one of six midfielders chosen to the team, while Hurm was one of seven forwards.
Fisher, who was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman Team, appeared in 20 games with the Irish and tallied seven points on three goals with one assist. The Simi Valley, California, native scored a season-high two goals in Notre Dame’s 4-3 comeback victory at Florida State.
Despite battling an injury during much of the 2017 season, Hurm made an immediate impact on the field for Notre Dame. Hailing from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, Hurm totaled seven points on one goal with five assists.

Megan Golden, athletics communications assistant director at the University of Notre Dame, has been part of the Fighting Irish athletics communications team since August of 2016. In her role, she coordinates all media efforts for the Notre Dame baseball and women’s soccer programs. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Golden is a 2014 graduate of Saint Mary’s College and former Irish women’s basketball manager. Prior to arriving at Notre Dame, she worked in public relations with the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox.
