Nov. 6, 2007

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Originally slated for 12 p.m. (ET), the start time for Notre Dame’s final regular season volleyball match has been moved to 2 p.m. (ET). The BIG EAST Conference showdown against No. 17 Louisville set to be played in the Joyce Center will also be televised live nationally on ESPN-U.

Notre Dame has won its last four home matches against league opponents, and will face Cincinnati on Friday (Nov. 9) at 4 p.m. before taking on the Cardinals.

The Louisville match will also be the final home contest for a pair of Irish seniors – setter Ashley Tarutis (Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) and outside hitter Adrianna Stasiuk (Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South). A Senior Day ceremony will take place prior to the start of the match.

Entering this week’s action, Notre Dame sits in a three-way tie for the BIG EAST Tournament’s fifth seed with South Florida and Connecticut. Eight of the 15 league teams will earn spots in the tournament.
