NOTRE DAME, Ind. – is debuting another of its new interactive features for the 2010-11 season, with its weekly Fighting Irish Fan Chats. Each Wednesday afternoon, will sit down for a live chat session with student-athletes, coaches and administrators making news in the world of Fighting Irish athletics. Fans are invited to join in and offer questions or comments for our guests, and if you can’t join us live, each chat will be archived so you can return to at your convenience and read what your favorite Notre Dame athletic personalities have to say on a variety of topics.

Our latest Fighting Irish Fan Chat took place on Friday (Oct. 22), as senior football nose guard Ian Williams and senior volleyball middle blocker Kellie Sciacca joined us.

Williams and the Irish football team will square off with Navy at noon on Saturday, Oct. 23 in the New Meadowlands Stadium. Notre Dame will look for its fourth straight victory.

Sciacca and the volleyball squad will open a four-game homestand against Syracuse at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Purcell Pavilion. Notre Dame’s ‘Dig Pink’ match will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday against Marquette at Purcell Pavilion.

Fans can help support the cause in a number of different ways, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Secret Sisters Society of South Bend.

The volleyball game-worn jersey auction can be accessed at The auction will close Monday (Oct. 25) at Noon. Autographed volleyballs and other Irish memorabilia will also be auctioned off in conjunction with the event. Pink volleyball t-shirts and Crocs are available for purchase at each home match.
