NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team will be on display three more times during the fall exhibition season and Fighting Irish fans are encouraged to attend the free events.
On Saturday, the Fighting Irish will hold a team scrimmage at 1 p.m. (ET) at Arlotta Stadium. The scrimmage will give Irish fans in the South Bend area and others who are in town for that evening’s Notre Dame-Michigan football game a chance to view the 2013 version of the Fighting Irish lacrosse squad.
Notre Dame will take part in a three-way scrimmage on Oct. 6 in Chicago, Ill. The Irish will face both Detroit and Bellarmine in exhibition games. The action gets underway at 8 a.m. (CT) at Franciscan Hale High School. The event coincides with the Notre Dame-Miami football clash at Soldier Field, which is slated for 6:30 p.m. (CT).
The Fighting Irish will square off against Navy on Oct. 13 in their final fall ball affair. The contest is scheduled for 11 a.m. (ET) at Arlotta Stadium. It is another opportunity for Irish fans in the community and those in town for that day’s football game versus Stanford (3:30 p.m.) to see the nationally-ranked Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team.
Notre Dame posted a 13-3 record in 2012 and advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Championship. The Fighting Irish won the BIG EAST regular-season title with a perfect 6-0 league mark.
