Signing Day 2015 Page

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame, through its multi-media channels at UND.com and WatchND, will bring you exclusive live coverage Wednesday (Feb. 4) of Irish football national signing day for 2015, as presented by Boling Vision Center.

The Notre Dame football team Twitter feed (@NDfootball) will announce the latest commitments by prospective student-athletes–as throughout the day fans will receive the first official word of the receipt of national letters-of-intent from members of the Irish freshman class of 2015. The primary Twitter hashtag to follow for Notre Dame football signing day updates is #ShamrockSoldiers15.

UND.com will serve as the primary hub for all official football signing day information, complete with a signee roster that will be updated in real-time as national letters of intent are received and verified. Player profiles on the site will include video highlights, biographical and statistical information.

WatchND will originate an hour-long national signing day special, beginning at noon EST and co-hosted by long-time Notre Dame broadcast host Jack Nolan, Jac Collinsworth and Mike Monaco. This will be the third national signing day in which Fighting Irish Digital Media will utilize its digital media center.

Collinsworth and Monaco will be located in the FIDM center, speaking with national media including Keith Arnold of NBCSports.com, Mike Frank of Irish Sports Daily, Pete Sampson of Irish Illustrated, Barton Simmons of 247 Sports, Mike Ferrell of Rivals.com and Tom Lemming to gain the national perspective of the Fighting Irish signees.

The one-hour show will re-air at both 1 p.m. EST and 2 p.m. EST. Nolan and former Irish All-America running back Reggie Brooks will be live on WatchND at 3 p.m. EST. At approximately 3:15 p.m. EST, Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly will speak with members of the assembled media to talk about the 2015 signees. The entire press conference will be carried live on UND.com.

Following the Kelly press conference, Nolan and Brooks will break down the entire class of 2015 signees, position by position.

Throughout the day, WatchND will bring you exclusive interviews with Kelly and various Irish assistant football coaches who will stop by the remote set in the football team’s Guglielmino Athletics Complex.

Curt Rallo and John Heisler will be embedded in the football office all day. They will each produce end-of-day Irish Extra features revolving around signing day activities. Rallo will interview a handful of players and assistant coaches, and Heisler will do a dawn-to-dusk diary.

In addition to the first official announcements of signees as their national letters of intent are certified on Twitter at @NDFootball, the Notre Dame football team’s Facebook fans also can see official real-time updates every time a new letter of intent comes across at facebook.com/NDfootball.
