NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Eric King has been named Operations Manager for the Joyce Center, coming to Notre Dame after spending 15 years with United Beverage Co. in South Bend.

King will be responsible for assisting Tom Blicher, the building’s general manager, in day-to-day operations of the facility. In addition to providing direction and supervision to the set-up, maintenance and technical services crews, receiving clerk and housekeeping staff. Outside the building, he will assist with the planning and operation of special events held at various athletic facilities. He will also be involved in the regular maintenance of the Joyce Center’s heating and air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.

He has spent the past 15 years in various positions at United Beverage Co., one of the largest Anheuser Busch wholesalers in Indiana, including as warehouse manager and merchandising team leader.

King is a native of the Michiana area and is a 1988 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School. He currently resides in Granger, Ind.
