PEORIA,Ariz. — Sophomore Isabella DiLisio shot a final round 73 to finish at five-under-par (211) and tied for third at the 2017 Westbrook Spring Invitational, which was played at the Westbrook Village Golf Club (Vistas Course).

“We’re really happy for Isabella being able to put three solid rounds together,” head coach Susan Holt said. “She has been so close to playing well and I was happy to see her get it done. This is a great confidence builder for her heading into the rest of the spring season.”

The Irish carded a final round 297 to finish at 20-over par (292-295-297–884), tying Washington State for ninth in the 13-team field.

Kansas State finished one-under par (861) to take the team championship. On the individual leaderboard, Nebraska’s Audrey Judd finished at seven-under-par (209) to best DeLisio by two strokes, while Connie Jaffrey placed second at six-under-par (210).

Leading The Irish Lineup

DiLisio’s final round included two birdies, 13 pars and three bogeys. Her three-round 211 marked her best career three-round total and tied for the sixth-lowest three-round total in program total. The five-under-par total is also Notre Dame’s best three-round score in relation to par this season. It marked DiLisio’s third career top-five finish.

In the final round, sophomore Emma Albrecht shot an even-par 72 to lead the Notre Dame lineup. She carded a three-over-par 219 to finish tied for 23rd. Her consistent tournament included an opening-round 73, 74 and then the 72. Albrecht’s six spring season round to date include two 72’s, two 73’s and two 74’s.

“Emma had another great tournament, posting three consistent rounds,” Holt added.
