NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Senior goaltender Bridget Deehan has been named the IWLCA and ACC’s Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday afternoon (March 30).
Deehan anchored the Irish defense in Notre Dame’s 13-9 road win on Sunday (March 28) at #9 Duke. The Milton, Georgia, native recorded 12 saves, eight of which came in the second half to preserve an Irish lead, to go with a career-high six ground balls and a caused turnover.
