NOTRE DAME, Ind. – A combined four current and future Notre Dame hockey players were listed in the NHL Central Scouting’s 2016 midterm rankings, which were released earlier this week (Jan. 19).

The North American rankings included current freshman forward Dylan Malmquist (195), as well as national letter of intent signees Andrew Peeke (50), Cam Morrison (59) and Michael Graham (85).

Malmquist has played in 22 games this season, totaling eight goals and five assists for 13 points. His eight goals rank tied for second on the team and that total is also tied for ninth in the nation in scoring by among freshmen.

Malmquist is one of just six players to come straight from public high school to play NCAA DI hockey this season and on Oct. 17 at Penn State, he became the first member of that group to score a goal. He is one of the 10 college hockey players listed in the midterm rankings.

Peeke, Morrison and Graham each signed national letters of intent in the fall of 2015.
