STANFORD, Calif. – Just under three innings of play were in the books Sunday when Notre Dame’s non-conference softball contest versus Western Kentucky was called off due to heavy rain in the Palo Alto area. The game was scoreless.
Notre Dame finished 2-2 at Stanford’s Nike Invitational and now looks ahead to next week’s Wolfpack Challenge hosted by North Carolina State in Raleigh, N.C.
