he University of Notre Dame rowing team finished up two days of competition against some of the top teams in the country at the Lake Natoma Invitational in Gold River, California, on Sunday morning.
The Irish faced No. 12 Southern Cal and Gonzaga in three races, finished behind the Trojans but ahead of the Bulldogs in each competition. The Third Varsity Eight also finished third in a Grand Finale race against California, Stanford and Sacramento State.
Notre Dame will face a quick turnaround next weekend, heading to Bloomington, Indiana, for the Dale England Cup.
