NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Tenth-ranked Notre Dame will play host to ninth-ranked Boston University this weekend (Feb. 26-27) at the Compton Family Ice Arena, with a top-four seed and first round Hockey East Tournament bye on the line for both teams.

For Friday night’s game (Feb. 26), fans are being asked to help stripe the arena in blue and white as the team will be in their blue jerseys instead of their traditional home white uniforms.

All fans seated in odd numbered sections asked to wear blue, while all fans seated in even numbered sections asked to wear white. The student section is also being encouraged to wear white.

In addition, navy or white pom poms will be placed in corresponding sections throughout the arena.

Also on Friday, former monogram winners in attendance will be recognized during a pre-game read as part of the hockey program’s alumni weekend.

Then on Saturday night (Feb. 27), Notre Dame’s six seniors will be honored in a pre-game ceremony beginning around 6:50 p.m. so fans are encouraged to arrive early. Saturday night’s pregame will also feature a special national anthem performance.
