Notre Dame, Ind. – Cody Risedorph and Ryan Gowen has been named assistant golf professionals at Notre Dame’s Warren Golf Course.

A December 2005 graduate of Ferris State University with a bachelor’s of science in business and a concentration in marketing and professional golf management, Risedorph, worked as a golf professional at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz., from October 2004 thru April 2005 where he helped administer all daily operations of the golf club, including the administration of sales, merchandise and inventory, managing tee times and assisted in coordinating tournaments held at the club.

Prior to his position at Whirlwind, he previously worked at the Eagle-Vail Golf Club in Avon, Colo., from May 2003 until October ’03 and also worked at the Coldwater Country Club in Coldwater, Mich., for four months beginning in May of 2002.

Gowen received a bachelor’s of science in business marketing from Ferris State University in ’05. He served as a second assistant professional at the Polo Club Boca Raton in Boca Raton, Fla., for seven months beginning in November of 2004. While there, he assisted with developing and managing member-oriented programs and services and coordinated tee times. Gowen also served as an assistant golf professional from May thru November of ’03 in at the Candelstone Inn Golf & Resort in Belding, Mich.

He also assisted with corporate merchandising distribution for the PGA at the 35th Ryder Cup in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. in September of ’04.
