Shawn Gaunt
Bio

Shawn Gaunt is in his fourth year at the University of Notre Dame. He is an assistant strength coach with football and also is responsible for the strength and conditioning program for track & field (sprinters, throwers and jumpers) and men[apos]s and women[apos]s golf. In addition, he works with various varsity athletes for speed development.

Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Gaunt was the head strength/speed coach at HS2 Athletic Performance in Mandeville, La. There, he was responsible for design and implementation of speed, strength, and agility programs for athletes ranging from junior high to professional. He also spent time at the University of Tennessee as a graduate assistant, working with the Volunteers[apos] football, men[apos]s track & field, and baseball programs.

Gaunt is certified by the United States Weightlifting Federation (USWL), Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa), and the National Strength Coaches Association (NSCA).
