Bio

Lind began serving as the team’s volunteer assistant coach with the start of the 2016-17 season.

Lind returns to Notre Dame hockey program, having previously patrolled the Irish blue line from 2010-14. During his undergraduate career at Notre Dame, Lind played in 151 career games, scored seven goals and added 22 assists.

Lind was a co-recipient of Notre Dame’s William Donald Nyrop Award (awarded to the defensive player of the year) following his senior season. He helped lead Notre Dame to the 2013 CCHA Tournament Championship. He also was part of three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the 2011 Frozen Four.

A four-time monogram winner for the Irish, Lind was selected in the sixth round (177th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft by Anaheim. After graduation, Lind began his professional hockey career with Anaheim’s AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Before returning to the Admirals later in the 2014-15 season, Lind played with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) for 60 games, tallying seven goals and five assists while contributing to a 37-27-0-8 season for the Grizzlies.
